Large Molecule LC-MS/MS

Global capabilities for large molecule LC-MS/MS assays.

To best align with targeted assays for your biologic or large molecule therapeutics, developed assays can quantify intact large molecules and their metabolites directly or through signature peptide(s) using LC-HRAM or LC-MS/MS methods.

These are robustly established with high sensitivity by implementing proven extraction and purification techniques, coupled with options of bottom-up proteolytic digestion or top-down intact analysis.

These molecules include

  • Antibodies/ADC
  • Native/recombinant proteins
  • Peptides/PDC

Featured Techniques and Strategies

  • Reagent free assays: Faster project progression and a translatable assay format through drug development
  • Mass-based detection: Overcome challenges associated with non-specific immunoassay reagents (immunoassay can be hybridized to LC-MS for greater sensitivity)
  • Ability to resolve closely related species: Provide structural information on the fate/stability of the protein
  • Complementary to immunoassay: Can offer a simpler route to a “total” assay
  • Possibility to multiplex analytes: Multiple proteins or multiple surrogate peptides from a single protein can be monitored through a single measurement
